Time in the Tuileries

Our final day in Paris was a nice and calm one. Towards the end of our trip, I became increasingly more tired with each day. We had seen and done so much with our time in both cities! I knew that if I was feeling that way, Adeline must’ve been experiencing it about three times as much. She’s only one, after all!

Marché Président Wilson & Les Marais

Our Saturday morning in Paris, we went to the Marché Président Wilson. Or, easier for some of us to say, the President Wilson Market. ; )

This open-air market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays and found on Ave du Président Wilson (hence the name). I was seriously blown away by this place and so impressed. You’ll find an incredible selection of food – QUALITY food, and many different types – fish, meats, cheese, pasta, bread, sweets! Shall I even continue? Because they also have FLOWERS!

This is the type of activity I love doing in a city like Paris – really taking in a local experience. I would highly recommend a trip to this market to just about anyone. Keep reading for a whopper of a post!

It sits on a hill in the 18th arrondissement of Paris and features the Sacre-Coeur Basilica at the very top. I was so excited to see it all!

Happy Mother’s Day, from Paris!

Bonjour! It’s a special day for us mamas. I’m sort of considering this Mother’s Day my first “official” one, as Adeline was still so tiny last year and I was still in a total daze from having a baby. ; )

I was pretty excited when I realized we’d be in Paris on this day. Never in a million years did I think I’d spend a Mother’s Day with a baby of my own in such an incredible city.

Picnic Under the Eiffel!

Thursday happened to be a national holiday here in France, so everyone was out and about enjoying the gorgeous weather. It was so neat to experience the city on a holiday like that, to see Parisians off work or out of school for the day. We headed over to Rue Cler again to pick out some food for a picnic and I snapped some photos along the way…
